Attributions / Conjectures

The photos are unsigned, but some are attributed to Charles Bayliss based on comparison with identical photos that have been signed at PXA 421-422; no. 69 has a Bayliss stamp

Date note

Though 1881 is the inscription date, the earliest photo, 31c, has been dated at 1868 from the circus advertisement in the image.
