Marshall Airways derelict aircraft at Bankstown Airport, 1975-1975. Syd Marshall was a pioneer aircraft engineer and pilot. He acquired a collection of vintage aircraft which became derelict. The DC-2s are the remainder of a fleet of these aircraft which were imported into Australia in the late 1930s and impressed into RAAF service during the Second World War. Marshall subsequently acquired five DC-2s after the war.
