J.C. Williamson photographs : musicals, opera, early performers, women performers

Many photonegatives in the collection were for theatre programs and publicity for JC Williamson and the Playbill programs of the Tivoli Circuit (never credited). Rees's montages for Borovansky Ballet were only briefly credited. About 20 of his images appear in: Entertaining Australia : an illustrated history / edited by Katharine Brisbane.  Sydney : Currency Press, 1991.
