William Thomas papers, 1834-1868, 1902

Copies of letters and returns sent, mainly to George Augustus Robinson and C.J. La Trobe, with some letters received, 26 January-31 December 1846. The letters contain occasional items of Aboriginal vocabulary, including personal names. Some returns etc. contain lists of Aboriginal people by name.
On p. 5 are two lists of 'Names of the Aborigines Jan.y 1846' headed 'Bomgurong Family Connections Western Port' and 'Yarra Black'.
On pp. 17-20, 39, 47, 53, 69, 83, 87, 93 are returns showing daily attendance of named Aboriginal children at various schools.
