Album presented to George Harwood by the staff of the Botanic Gardens Sydney New South Wales, 30th June 1914

The first watercolour is of a species of hibiscus named after George Harwood, and is titled in ink at lower centre. The remaining four watercolour studies are in the form of an illuminated address to George Harwood signed by members of staff, and incorporating studies of numerous native plants as floral decoration. The address is dated 'Sydney 30 June 1914' at upper right.

Ten of the photographs bears photographers names at lower right and left corners. Forty seven are titled on mounts and twenty seven are titled at lower left, centre and right.

The photographs are of staff members, birds-eye views of the Gardens, and its various sections.
