Silver tablespoon and table fork (possibly presentation cutlery), plain shell pattern, engraved with Coat of Arms and motto "Honi soit qui mal y pense", 1824-1825 and engraved with "HMS Herald" on back of stems. 

The pieces are hallmarked by Daniel Pontifex: from left to right the King's head (George IV) indicates excise duty has been paid; the letter "i" dates the piece to 1824-1825; the leopard's head is the office mark of the London Assay Office; the lion passant indicating sterling silver;  "DP" are the registered initials of its maker.
