Mainly letters from her husband while he was on active service with the Australian Mining Corps, including letters written from Broadmeadow Mining Corps camp Feb. 1915, from Troopship A 38 SS Ulysses, 2 Mar. 1916, from Blackboy Hill Camp, W.A., on board ship Apr.-May 1916, and from France May 1916-Dec. 1918 while on active service with the Australian Mining Corps. Includes letter from her son Bill after he was wounded in France, Aug. 1917 and letter containing pressed flowers.
Also includes miscellaneous correspondence regarding her son’s school, Girl Guides certificates, a copy of Shackleton’s instructions to Tannatt David, letters of commiseration after Tannatt David’s death in 1934 and General Edmonds’s reminiscences of Professor David in France
