Administrative / Biographical history
In the early 1950's Freeman Studios printed a selection of their cartes de visite glass negatives for display. Soon after there was a fire next door to their studio and some of their negatives were lost, including some of the negatives they had printed.
In February 1954 Freeman Studios presented their display prints to the Mitchell Library.
