Two albums of cuttings of John Walsh's work, received from the estate of the late Vera Walsh in January 1993, are at MLMSS 5687.
Attributions / Conjectures
One of the oil portraits at nos.2-3 may be an unfinished self-portrait which is referred to in the Associate Mitchell Librarian's notes of her visit to Miss Walsh to view the collection in September 1969. The same notes state that Walsh's studios were are Reiby Place, then Dalley St., and that Walsh designed windows for Rodosky [i.e. Radecki?] & Co...

Miss Vera Walsh contacted the Mitchell Library in June 1969 shortly after the death of her brother, black & white artist John Walsh. She donated the material catalogued at PXD 1099 in September 1969, and offered the Library two further scrapbook volumes of cuttings of John Walsh's published work; these were received from the executor of Miss Walsh'...
