During war: after Germans arrived in Lodz family moved to uncle in Warsaw by horse and cart, in April 1940 returned to Lodz and moved into ghetto, worked in cutting room of clothing factory, became courier and smuggled goods into ghetto, in July 1944 transported with family to Auschwi...
