This letter is written from on board the ship Louisa Campbell anchored at Sydney Cove and details Heggie's trip to Australia with comments on Adelaide, Melbourne, Geelong and Sydney. Heggie wished to take up land in New Zealand and hoped to see James Busby, the British Resident in New Zealand who was at his property in the Hunter at the time.
