(1) File covers the period 1980-1985. It contains memos and correspondence between the two companies as well as financial statements and internal reports on the company. Suburban was jointly owned 50/50 by Fairfax and Australian Consolidated Press. In April 1985 Fairfax purchased Consolidated's 50 per cent shareholding.
