Sydney Exposures exhibition caption: Would-be-hero, Sydney, 28 June 1937 : Tom Morris set out from Martin Place to skip to Newcastle, a trip estimated to take five days. He arrived in Gosford three days later, however there was no report of his arrival in Newcastle.
