The first three watercolour studies are in the form of the title page, an illuminated address to Dr. Wood, signed by the residents of Coffs Harbour, and incorporating, studies of native plants as floral decoration, and an inset view of a residence.
Native plants are also incorporated as floral decoration surrounding each photograph.
