Administrative / Biographical history

Dr. Andrew Nash, a surgeon and his wife Margaret, nee Brady emigrated to Australia from Ireland in 1857 and settled in Melbourne. Dr Nash later established a medical practice at Wallsend, Newcastle, NSW. He died in 1885, when his son John Brady Nash took over the Wallsend practice.
