Geoff Neeve commenced work in the Angus & Robertson bookshop at 89 Castlereagh Street, Sydney, in 1942 at the age of 14. He later moved to Melbourne as assistant manager of the new Angus & Robertson shop and then became manager of the trade department, where he continued for the rest of his 48 years with the firm.
