Administrative / Biographical history

Colonial Missionary Society was founded in 1835 to service the new settlement in W.A. C.M.S. soon united with the Colonial Church and School Society, already at work in Newfoundland and Canada. In 1861 the Society changed its name to the Colonial and Continental Church Society and in 1953 adopted its present title
