Administrative / Biographical history
H. W. B. MacArty, an electrician of Mount Barker, South Australia, enlisted at Morphettville, Aug. 1914 aged 27 years and embarked from Adelaide on board Transport A11 Ascanius, 20 Oct. 1914. He served with the 10th and 50th Battalions in Egypt and at Gallipoli. He returned to Australia on HT Port Sydney, June 1916.
