Charles Gilbert Heydon (1845-1932), barrister and parliamentarian, was born at Sydney, son of Jabez King Heydon and his wife Sophia, nee Hayes. He was educated at St. Mary's Cathedral School and Rev. Thomas Aitken's school at Ryde. In 1860 he joined the Commercial Banking Co. of Sydney. Heydon was admitted to the NSW Bar in 1875 and appointed Q...
