Administrative / Biographical history

William Owen Clarke, a farmer, was born in Kent, England and enlisted in Brisbane, Queensland, July 1915 aged 20 years. He embarked from Brisbane on board HMAT A26 Armadale, 18 Sept. 1915 and served as a member of the 25th Battalion, 4th Reinforcement.
