Administrative / Biographical history

Lindley Evans (1895-1982) studied the piano with Frank Hutchens at the New South Wales Conservatorium of Music when it opened in 1915. He later became Professor of Pianoforte at the Conservatorium and also Hutchen's musical partner in a two-piano team. Evans and Hutchens gave concerts together for 40 years.
