Administrative / Biographical history
Sylvia Ashby (1908-1978), pioneer market researcher and businesswoman, set up the Ashby Research Service in 1936 which is said to be the first 'independent' market research agency in Australia. Her husband Stuart Lucy was also a market researcher.
