Simeon Henry Pearce (1821-1886) was born at Randwick, Gloucestershire (photoprint included in this collection). He built a house called Blenheim House in 1848 and became the first Mayor of Randwick (Sydney) in 1859. He visited his birthplace in 1881. His daughter Amy married Edwin Allen in 1906 and went to live at Rodwell Hall, Wiltshire.
