W. J. A. (Wilfred Joseph Allan) Allsop, clerk, of Mosman, Sydney was born in Flemington, Melbourne, 11 April 1893. He enlisted at Liverpool aged 22, 12 August 1915 and embarked from Melbourne on HMAT SS Ascanius A11, 10 Oct. 1915.
