Administrative / Biographical history
Reverend Philip Peters Agnew was born in Ross, Scotland in 1813. He studied at Oxford University before arriving in Sydney in 1844. He spent 1845 studying at St. John's College, Auckland, New Zealand. He returned to Sydney in 1846 and was appointed Chaplain to Sydney Gaol.
