Administrative / Biographical history

Robert Wisdom, 1830-1888, barrister and politician, was born at Lancashire England and arrived in Sydney with his parents in 1834. He was admitted to the NSW Bar in 1861 and appointed a QC in 1879. Wisdom was elected member of the NSW Legislative Assembly for the seats of Goldfields (1859-1864) The Lower Hunter (1864-1870) and Morpeth (1874-1887)....
