Administrative / Biographical history

James Badgery (ca.1764-1827) arrived in NSW in 1799 and began raising cattle. He and his son Henry (b.1803), explored much of the Kangaroo Valley area before settling at Bega. Henry's sons from his first marriage settled in Monaro region. His sons from his second marriage settled around the Exeter region on various properties of their father's. <...
