A Duckershoff (generally known as Hoff) MD Leipzig of Sydney, devoted himself entirely to diseases of skin and larynx, and was described as 'the only pure specialist in such diseases throughout the Aust. Colonies.' He died of phthisis in 1887, aged 44.
