Summary
In 195-? the Cunard Line decided to have liners built to sail the route England to Montreal, Montreal being a major commercial centre in Canada. Most of the film traces the design, construction, launching (by Lady Churchill in February 1954), fitting out, trials and maiden voyage of the ship "Saxonia", the first of five Cunard liners for this route...
