Robert Boyle, famous in the literary world for his improvements in philosophy and other learned works. VI. - Henry Boyle, Lord Carleton, chancellor of the Exchequer to K. William, and secretary of state to Q. Anne.VII. - Charles Boyle, late Earl of Orrery, grandson to Roger, Lord Broghill; his character as a statesman, a soldier, and scholar; with a particular relation of his learned controversy with Dr. Bently. VIII. - John Boyle, the present Earl of Orrery and Cork. IX. - Francis Boyle, Lord Viscount Shannon, late general of the forces in Ireland. Also, X. An impartial account of the life, character, and parliamentary conduct of the Right. Hon. Henry Boyle, Esq; speaker of the Hon. House of commons, one of His Majesty's Most Honourable Privy-Council, and twelve times sworn one of the lord justices of Ireland. Illustrated with many curious pieces of English history, not extant in any other author. The whole extracted from original papers and manuscripts.
