Excise, Scotland. Accounts of the total number of gallons of spirits distilled in Scotland, for home consumption, during each of the following periods; distinguishing in each of them the number of gallons distilled in the Lowlands and Highlands respectively; with the total amount of duty during each of these periods, as also the rate of duty on the gallon of spirits during each of such periods: 1st. During the currency of the licences taken out in 1806. 2d. During the currency of the licences taken out in 1807. 3d. From the 1st of December 1808 to the 1st of December 1809. 4th. From the 1st of December 1809 to the 1st of December 1810. 5th. From the 1st of December 1810 to the 10th of November 1811; distinguishing in the latter period the number of gallons made from sugar and corn respectively, and the different duties on each. 6th. From the 10th of November 1811 to the 1st of December 1812; distinguishing also in this period the number of gallons made from corn and sugar respectively, and the different duties on each. 7th. From the 1st of December 1812 to 1st December 1813, or the 10th December 1813, if any spirits were distilled between 1st and 10th December 1813. 8th. From the 10th December 1813 to the commencement of the act 54 Geo. III, cap. 172, on the 1st of October 1814. 9th. From the commencement of the act 54 Geo. III, cap. 172, to the 10th of November 1815. 10th. From the 10th November 1815 to the latest time to which the same can be made up [electronic resource].
