A descriptive plan for erecting a penitentiary house, for the employment of convicts : to which are added, plans for the prevention of frauds and thefts, so far as respects His Majesty's dock-yards, public works, and stores : also, suggestions, adapted to the formation of a law, to subject certain dealers in old iron, copper, lead, ropes, &c. to regulations, calculated at once to prevent thefts, frauds, and embezzlements : and, by advancing the revenue £800,000 per annum, consitute an advantage to the public of nearly one million eight hundred thousand pounds per annum : likewise, some strictures on the alarming progress of the Blackwall rock in the river Thames ... : also a description and drawings of a new-invented life-boat ... : likewise a plan of a rail-way from London to Portsmouth.
