A bill to repeal so much of an act, passed in the 18th year of the reign of King George the Second, intituled, "an act for the more effectually preventing the stealing of linen, fustian and cotton goods and wares, in buildings, fields, grounds, and other places used for printing, whitening, bleaching or drying the same," as takes away the benefit of clergy from persons stealing cloth in places therein mentioned; and for more effectually preventing such felonies [electronic resource].
