Coolie traffic. Returns of the number and names of the ships employed in conveying coolies from India and China to the West Indies since the first day of January 1872 to the present date; and, of the number of coolies taken in these vessels, the number of deaths which occurred during the passage, and the number of medical officers, qualified and unqualified, in whose medical charge the coolies were placed on leaving the Port of Embarkation, and how many of these have been entered on the articles of the ship [electronic resource].
