Seventy-one core samples from nine wells that penetrate the Precipice Sandstone and Evergreen Formation underwent palynological analysis for biostratigraphic and paleoenvironmental purposes. The results showed that the Precipice Sandstone, by and large, is of Early Jurassic age whereas the Evergreen Formation is of Early to Middle Jurassic....
