Return to an order of the honourable the House of Commons, dated 15 June, 1914:--for, return "so far as particulars are available, as to (i) the cost of the provision made by local authorities for housing persons of the working classes, in pursuance of improvement schemes and reconstruction schemes under parts I. and II. of the Housing of the Working Classes Act, 1890, and the charge, if any, on the rates in respect thereof; (ii) the cost of schemes for the provision of houses for the working classes under part III. of the said act, and the charge, if any, on the rates in respect thereof; and (iii) the cost of housing schemes under section 3 and the schedule of the Housing of the Working Classes Act, 1903, and the charge, if any, on the rates in respect thereof.
