Proclamation : whereas by a government and general order, bearing date the seventh day of December, in the year of our Lord, 1816 His Excellency the Governor was pleased to direct and order certain rates or assessments of wages, and certain prices of labour to be paid to the male and female convicts of this colony, as in the said government and general order mentioned / by his Excellency Lachlan Macquarie.
