Sea fish industry. A bill to provide for giving financial assistance to persons engaged in or desiring to engage in the sea-fishing industry, for regulating the crew accommodation provided in fishing boats, for safeguarding the quality of sea fish intended for human consumption and otherwise securing the best use of supplies of sea fish, for the licensing of fishing boats and of persons engaged in processing or wholesale dealing in sea fish, for appointing sea-fishery officers, for amending the Merchant Shipping Act, 1894, with respect to fishing boats engaged in the Newfoundland cod fisheries, for repealing certain provisions of the Sea Fish Industry Act, 1938, and for purposes connected with the matters aforesaid [electronic resource].
