Summary
Set in Oklahoma Territory in the early 1900's it iss an idealised vision of a simpler time, a story of tender romance and violent passion. Gordon McRae is Curley, a sunny, good-natured ranch hand. Shirley Jones is Laurey Williams, the farmer's daughter he loves. Rod Steiger is the manacing Jud, who tries to come between them.
