The quadrature of the circle, [electronic resource] : in two general methods, clearly demonstrated. Method I. Is founded on that general Theorem, that all Figures ought to be measured by their Similars; therefore Circles are to be measured by Circles. Method II. Is founded on that known Definition, that if a Circle apply every Part of its Circumference one after another to a streight Line, that Line will equal its Circumference. Also The laying down the Cycloid geometrically by Points: And the Trisection of Angles geometrically performed. To which is annexed, a new and easy method of gaining the longitude at sea. By James Latimer.
