Summary

Sherman, a rough terrain epibenthic sled was initially developed to sample the invertebrates from seamounts in 1997 by CSIRO. During the first voyage the sled successfully sampled at 48 stations and the initial design is given in Lewis (1999). During this first voyage Sherman suffered extensive damage and this initiated a redevelopment to cope with...
