Summary

Episode 1 in a trilogy which examines in detail the political, economic and cultural problems facing the people of the Brazilian Amazon today. Episode 1 looks at the Mehinaku people of the Xingu National Park in Central Brazil. Mainly features the Jawari cycle, a ritual ensuring peaceful relationships between tribes.
