Notes
General note
Ms. illumination on vellum.
The work of the Spanish Forger, a skillful and prolific forger active around 1890 to 1910, probably French. He was first identified by Belle da Costa Greene as the author of a panel that had been attributed to 15th century artist Jorge Inglés, thus his name the Spanish Forger.
