A genuine account of the life of John Rann, [electronic resource] : alias Sixteen-String Jack: who was executed November 30th. 1774, for a robbery on the highway, near Brentford; Containing His Adventures and Enterprises, his numerous Escapes from Justice, and his Amours with several Ladies. Among which is introduced some curious anecdotes of Miss Smith and Miss Roche, His Favorite Dulcineas to which is added some strictures on the penal laws, an a particular account of Lane and Trotman, executed at the same Time for the barbarous robbery of Mr. Floyd, in a Coach, near Chelsea.
