Summary
This film records Narritjin Maymuru's reaction to the unwelcome establishment of the Gove bauxite mine. In 1971, Narritjin held a mortuary ceremony at Yirrkala mission in memory of several dead relatives. He decided to open his ceremony to visitors from the mining town. Through this he hoped to raise money so he and his family could leave Yirrkala...
