The whole revised and corrected by Francis Hargrave, of Lincoln's-Inn, Esq. With the addition of various readings of Littleton, From The More Early Editions; and a preface, notes, and references, by the editor. And also an analysis of Littleton. Written by an Unknown Hand in 1658-9, but never before published. .

Hargrave's work was brought to completion, eventually in 1788 by Charles Butler.
In later issues the original titlepage is cancelled; a new titlepage and preliminaries, here bound before the section edited by Butler, are substituted.
