A new art of short-writing. [electronic resource] : A more easie and speedy way, then was ever yet published, or taught. / Newly invented and composed, by Thomas Shelton, author and teacher of the sayd art; at the lower end of Cheapside, near the church in the Poultry. Allowed by authority. This whole art being every word framed out of the 24 letters, not charging momory with any one strange marke; an ordinary capacity may learne the grounds of it fully in lesse than two houres time. By this art, sermons or other speeches may be taken verbatim, or private accounts kept, and as much written in the space of one line, as is contained in six lines in any ordinary hand. Those that desire them, may have Psalme bookes written in this art, at the authors house.
