Includes inset of the north polar view.
Like Moll's world maps of 1681, 1688, and 1695 this map continues to show California as an island, and Hokkaido is called Land of Iesso. Australia's coast between Geraldton and Perth is not drawn, preserving Abel Tasman's geography.
Moll's experience with work on Halley's wind map of 1686 was utilised here.
