Dr Douglas Frew Waterhouse was born in Sydney on 3 June 1916. He is an Honourary Research Fellow at the CSIRO Division of Entomology. In this interview he talks about his childhood, family and his research work in biological control and pest management. He is the author of numerous books, including 'Butterflies of Australia'.
