The Memoirs and adventures of Mark Moore, [electronic resource] : late an officer in the British Navy. Interspersed With a Variety of original Anecdotes, selected from his Journals, when in the Tuscan, Portuguese, Swedish, Imperial, American, and British Service, in each of which he bore a-Commission. Written by himself. As the Author has been at Intervals the Manager of a respectable Company of Comedians, in several of the principal Towns of England, France, and Flanders, he has also added some original Sketches of several Theatrical Characters, who now rank high in the Thespian Corps-With Descriptions of the various Scenes in which he has been lately involved, through the Machinations of petty-fogging Attornies, in which the Arts of those Terriers of the Law are fully exposed, for the Benefit of Society. .
